Middle School Speaker Series

As we approach the end of the fifth grade year, middle school experts like teachers, administrators, and students begin stopping by to speak with the fifth graders about the transition to sixth grade.

Two weeks ago, Emma Smith (MS/HS History) dropped by to talk to the students about field trips and guest speakers.

Last Wednesday, Becky Breckner (Guidance Counselor) spent some time with us to discuss what daily schedules will look like for 6th graders – covering topics like core vs elective classes.  She even engaged the students in brainstorming possible elective classes and clubs that they would be interested in.  Mrs. Breckner also discussed the conference schedule and picking lockers.

Today, Middle School Head Mr. Craig stopped by to discuss GoogleClassroom and time management.  He walked students through how to use certain features of GoogleClassrooms like the cumulative schedule – for keeping track of long-term projects and due-dates.
