100th Day AND Day of Play!!!

Wow! What an exciting day we have had in Early Learners! The students came in this morning READY to have fun! After we did our morning meeting we went over to our yellow room friends and counted to 100 together first by 10’s and then by 5’s. We talked about all the different play choices they had for our Day of Play and we gave them a tour of BOTH rooms and our common space where they could choose to play! They were SO excited and it was fun to see! Here are some pictures of our morning exploring all the play options that both classes had to offer.

In addition to getting to play in the yellow room with some new materials they aren’t familiar with, the students greatly enjoyed getting to socialize with their friends in the yellow room all morning AND during recess too!

After recess and lunch we gathered together and shared our bag of 100 items! It was so interesting to see what different items students brought!

I was so impressed with everyone’s 100 day shirts! Here are a few of my friends who were willing to step aside for a moment to have their picture taken, haha!

My shirt says “100 days brighter” and I definitely feel that teaching this class of kiddos has brightened up my life! We have truly had a wonderful 100 days of school and I have seen so much growth in all of the students. We have more exciting and learning-filled days up ahead as well!
