The Raven’s Art Studio presents: Whimsical Watercolor Mice

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the artistic journey your little ones have embarked upon in their recent art class.  Your child has been working on – a charming mouse watercolor masterpiece, crafted using triangles, circles, and a sprinkle of different types of lines.

The journey began with the exploration of basic geometric shapes. The young artists were ready to put their creativity to the test. Armed with watercolors, brushes, and paper, the children set out to bring their unique mice to life. The use of triangles for the head and a few circles for the ears, eyes and body.

But it didn’t stop there – the introduction of different types of lines brought an extra layer of personality to each mouse. Some lines wavy, creating the effect of fur, while others were straight and precise, defining the outline of their little eyes and whiskers.

The process of combining basic shapes and lines to create a whimsical, watercolor mouse not only honed their artistic skills but also fostered a sense of accomplishment and self-expression.

I encourage you to take a moment to admire your child’s artwork and engage in a conversation about their creative choices. This project not only showcases their artistic abilities but also reinforces important concepts in a playful and enjoyable manner.

Thank you for your continued support of your child’s artistic endeavors. I look forward to witnessing more magical creations as they continue to explore the world of art.

Best regards,

Jeannine Dalton
