Springtime: Write The Room!

Spring is in the air and all around our Early Learners classroom!  As we continue our lessons on Life Cycles of Plants and the changes taking place this season, we are becoming familiar with the signs and symbols all around us.  Today our students were asked to ‘Write the Room!’  Twenty symbols (pictures & words) of springtime were posted throughout the classroom.  With paper, clipboard and pencil in hand, our young students walked around the room to find as many pictures as they could and copy the word written underneath.  They enjoyed this activity so much and worked diligently to complete their paper.  I was so impressed with how well they worked and how well they were able to print the words.

Thank You to Hudson’s parents for donating clipboards to our school!

Our Star Of The Week this week is William!  Today, during lunch time, William’s mom came to our classroom and read one of William’s favorite books, ‘Diggersaurs’ by Michael Whaite!  Thank you, Mrs. Teed for taking time from teaching P.E. to read to our class!

Have a great afternoon!  ~Mrs. Michaliszyn
