Friday April 5th in Early Learners!

In preparation for Monday,  we focused our attention on the Solar Eclipse!  In their Friday Folder you will find a special ‘Let’s Find Out’ magazine, and an emergent reader explaining what a Solar Eclipse is.  We read these materials together as a class and also created a Solar Eclipse craft for our students to have a hands on example of how a solar eclipse takes place.

You will also find a special pair of Solar Eclipse glasses for your child to wear when the Solar Eclipse occurs on Monday.  There will be no school this Monday, April 8th.

Our students have learned a great deal about the life cycle of plants and the parts of the plants.  We planted seeds, matched words to the parts of plants and this week we created flowers with paint, forks and fingers!  The result… a beautiful garden of tulips!

Have a wonderful weekend!  ~Mrs. Michaliszyn
