The Adventurers had an amazing time learning all about butterflies at The Butterfly Palace in Branson. The journey started with our guide Fidget the Inventor who took us to the 3D theatre where we learned more about butterfly migration while watching the Flight of the Butterflies.
After that, we entered the tropical rainforest room and some students were able to release new butterflies that were imported from around the world. Next, students explored the exhibit with a nectar flower to allow them to hand feed the butterflies and examine them up close in a safe way. Butterflies love red, so we had the perfect field trip shirt to attract them! We enjoyed viewing over 40 species of butterflies in one place!
It was the perfect field trip to reinforce what we’ve learned about butterfly life cycles and an awesome opportunity to support rainforest conservation.
