Hello Kindergarten,
It has been an eventful week to say the least! We have had a lot of fun enjoying our spirit week and conferences. I look forward to meeting with more of you this afternoon and tomorrow.
Although our normal routine has been a bit off this week we did get to meet up with the 4th graders to work on a special project. The 4th graders have been studying Biopoems and invited us to join them in writing our own Biopoems. This morning we learned the different parts of the poem and worked with partners to write our first draft. Tomorrow morning the 4th graders are going to join us again to help us publish our poems and type them. We look forward to sharing the finished product with you when we are done and are thankful for the opportunity to stretch our brains with other Summit students.
Please remember that tomorrow is an Early Out day and all students will be dismissed at 11:30. There will be no Fun Zone and we will not be having school at lunch. It is also the final day of spirit week… hat day!
I hope you have an amazing spring break and come back rejuvenated and ready to finish up our school year. We will beginning our 3rd trimester study of rural communities and life cycles. I look forward to the beautiful spring weather and watching everything turn green and grow!
Have a great day!
