Kindergarten students have been working on our writing skills all year long. We are experts at using letter sounds to phonetically sound out each word we want to write. We also use sight words from the classroom Word Wall to supplement our vocabulary and make writing easier! Last week, students began writing “How To” stories by sharing the steps for building a snowman. Next, we wrote a class book titled “How To Eat an Oreo” – you will be surprised at the number of ways this classic cookie can be eaten.
