Here’s what we’ll be up to next week!

Writing: Wrapping up our compare/contrast writings in which the kids chose two characters from two different stories to write about.

Math: Moving on to an in-depth look at tenths and hundredths in terms of the fractions concepts we’ve learned so far (comparing, adding, and subtracting).

Reading: Next week is Crayola Creativity Week, and we’ll be using some great activities and picture books to explore topics such as “Endless Possibilities,” “Building Dreams and Community,” and “Language and Laughter.” Looking forward to sharing some great stories and discussions with the kiddos next week!

Science: Our force and motion unit continues — we’ll finish discussing Newton’s Laws, and move into work and energy. *Stay tuned for info. on our next field trip, coming soon!*

Spelling: There WILL be a spelling unit next week, so look for those words to come home on Monday!

Have a great weekend! (Go Chiefs!!)
