What kind of device can you create that will convert energy from one form to another? A simple paper circuit can show how energy is transferred from the battery, through the light, and back to the battery. With this concept in mind, 4th graders were given the task of designing a night light that includes a custom design, a light and an on/off switch.  By going through the Engineering Design Process, they learned about the invention of light and circuits and explored night light designs. With this information, students created a 3D printed prototype of a night light that will sit on top of a paper circuit that they created.  They will be able to bring these home once completed.
