Our recent field trip to the Wonders of Wildlife was an incredible experience, perfectly tying into our current Oceanography unit! As we’ve been studying ocean ecosystems, marine life, and conservation efforts in class, the field trip gave our students a chance to see these topics come to life in amazing ways.

One of the most exciting parts? Some students even spotted the very ocean animals they chose for their research projects! From sea turtles to sharks to colorful coral fish, seeing their research subjects up close was a thrilling and meaningful experience. This direct connection made our studies feel even more real, and it was wonderful to watch students make these connections with their own research topics.
