Week of 10/17-10/21

Hope everyone is enjoying the fall break!  We’re looking forward to a great week next week!  Here’s what we’ll be working on:

Writing: Finishing up and publishing those opinion essays.

Reading: Starting a new book: Fatty Legs.  We’ll read it together and spend a lot of time discussing how to write about and discuss what we’re reading.

Spelling:  We will carry on with the spelling lists we began this week.

Science: Earthquakes and tsunamis.  And Jello…

Social Studies: Research!

Math: Multiplying fractions by other fractions and mixed numbers
