Week of 11/14-11/18

Remember that there is no school tomorrow (Friday) as we will be holding parent-teacher conferences.  Looking forward to seeing parents there!

Here’s what we’re working on next week:

Writing: expository writing, with an emphasis on multi-paragraph essays.

Reading: reading groups!

Spelling/Grammar: spelling week!  Keep a lookout for the new rule next week!

Science: more graphs!

Social Studies: we’re wrapping up our projects by discussing the similarities and differences of the Native American nations that the students researched. We will also discuss the tradition of Thanksgiving and it’s history.

Math: properties of multiplication and strategies for multiplying multi-digit numbers.

Also:  Picture retakes on Tuesday and Jump-Up day on Wednesday!
