Trimester 2 Celebration

On Tuesday, the fifth grade celebrated the learning that took place in the second trimester!  We held a poetry slam where fifth graders shared one of their original poems along with one of their favorite poems from a published author.  Then it was trivia time!  We challenged our guests (and each other) to take quizzes on electricity and magnetism.  The cool part:  the fifth graders made their electrical quiz boards using circuits – the light bulb would only light up if the answer was correct!
