Explorer Experts

This week, in social studies, the students worked on becoming an expert on a European explorer.  This is in preparation for our studies on the Age of Exploration, when European countries put a great deal of energy into exploring the globe.  As experts, they cultivated research and put together a Slides presentation to share with the class.  As we move through the unit, I will be calling on our experts to fill us in on what these explorers were looking for, what they found, and the contributions they made to history.  Our experts will also be sharing a primary source they found about or from their explorer with the class.
