This week we have a fabulous new star student, Ms. Elena! She shared her beautiful poster with us yesterday and her favorite book, ‘Green Eggs and Ham’. She blew me away with how many words she found around the room that start with letter S today! Way to go Elena!

We have had some very exciting developments with our caterpillars! We have one of our 5 caterpillars that has moved onto the next stage in their life cycle! One of them has made a chrysalis! At the end of today we have 2 more that are hanging from the top of the container so I believe they will have made their chrysalis by tomorrow morning! The students are enthralled with the process!

This morning we had another fun challenge where the students had to find a card with the letter S on it and also a number. They then had to locate one of their classmates that had a S card that had the same number on it and they had to make sure their cards fit together like puzzle pieces! It was a fun way to get them up and moving, looking for our letter of the week, while also getting some more number practice in!
