Wrapping up American History to 1877

High school students recently presented on key moments from the Civil War, demonstrating their excellence in research and presentations. They are now studying the Reconstruction Era and are looking forward to a guest speaker on Friday, May 12th. Dr. David Dalton is a professor of American History at College of the Ozarks, and he is planning to respond to student requests to discuss the military history of the Civil War, the political parties of the 20th century, and the Civil Rights Movement.

I’m already excited for all we’ll study next year when we pick up with the Gilded Age in August.
