Students in high school are working toward understanding political issues in greater depth. Many students have elected to examine the Green and Libertarian parties as their third-party option and are diving in to the platforms. Current events further provide a great lens for understanding each of their issues. We also spent time this week going over current elected officials at the federal level to continue building their understanding of roles and responsibilities within the US government.
