Outdoor Cooking Elective

Students in the Outdoor Cooking elective have been learning about nutrition and food safety this week. As a part of these lessons students made their own trail mix, identified the types of macronutrients included, and calculated the calorie count. Students also had the opportunity to practice three different bear hangs for safe food and trash storage.
