The Credibility of Aliens and Bigfoot

We had a shortened week due to early release and student-led conferences on Friday. Alas, our time together was shortened. We still had interesting conversations about research, credibility, and an assignment that asked partners to find and evaluate sources about either aliens or Bigfoot. We will continue that discussion next week as students work on evaluating sources for their annotated bibliography.

To engage with your student, you could ask them:

  • what sources they found about aliens or Bigfoot;
  • what issue they plan to research for their annotated bibliography/solution essays;
  • what book they are reading for their next book report; and/or
  • if they intend to enter any of their work from last semester – or different work – into LAD Fair.
