Social Studies Update

Students in political science are wrapping up their campaigns and preparing for their presentations to classmates upon return from spring break. This week, we’re also spending time watching historic presidential debates, starting with Kennedy & Nixon in 1960. Students are paying attention to vocabulary, body language, charisma, cadence, personal attacks and more as they watch these debates, making comparisons and finding points of contrast from the first televised debate to more recent examples.
