Social Studies Update

Political science students are wrapping up their learning of Presidential debates with an assessment that asks them to note key changes. Students were also asked what questions they would like to see candidates answer, if they were to moderate a debate. We had a great discussion on Thursday about those questions. A particularly appealing one was: why do you want to run for President of the United States?

These classes are also beginning their unit on Missouri government and some historical events that have brought us to where we are today.
