We have ended a fantastic week with a nice day. This morning we were invited by Mrs. Stroup to come visit the middle school and teach them our bone song. Lois (our skeleton friend) is heading back to middle school now that we have had a chance to use her as a resource. As an introduction to their human body study the Kindergartners got to show their middle school friends how we make connections using songs and movement to learn new concepts. This is an awesome example of what makes The Summit such a great place.
We spent the rest of our morning using our friendly letter writing skills to make valentines for Culpepper Place.. During free choice we shared all of our Valentines and enjoyed a special snack. We talked about how Valentines Day is a good day to stop and remember how to treat other people using kind words and kind actions.
I hope that you have a great weekend and a happy Valentines Day. I will see you back here on Tuesday!
Love,
Mrs. Kimmons
