The Adventurers are learning that good handwriting begins with the right pencil grip! We are practicing how to hold our pencils correctly and comfortably so that we can develop better control, form letters more easily, and build confidence as young writers. With practice, students are strengthening the fine-motor skills they need to become successful writers.
Today, they started working in their D’Nealian Handwriting workbooks where they’ll soon practice forming letters and numbers with proper strokes, focusing on neatness, spacing, and consistency. Our class is on their way to developing strong handwriting habits that will support them throughout their school years. I am so proud of their effort and excited to watch their handwriting skills grow!
