The Summit kindergarten students conducted their very first science experiment! We learned that when raisins are placed in a cup of clear soda, they can “dance.” The students watched closely as tiny bubbles formed on the raisins, lifted them toward the surface, and then popped, causing the raisins to sink back down.

     Our young scientists made observations, asked questions, and shared their ideas about why the raisins were moving. The dancing raisins experiment was a way for students to enjoy and appreciate scientific discovery. We are so proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm.
