The Run for The Summit
Saturday, September 28th – Race begins at 9:00 a.m.
The Summit Parent Organization will be hosting our 13th annual Run for The Summit. This year we will be celebrating SCIENCE! Many professionals use science everyday! From Nurses, Anthropologists and Botanists to Cosmetologists, Veterinarians and Chefs! The possibilities are endless! We encourage you to get creative and dress up as your favorite science related professional. We hope to see a few mad scientists out there!
Register: Make sure you register before Tuesday, 9/17 to ensure you receive a Run Shirt! The Summit Run shirts are considered Summit Spirit Wear and may be worn on Friday Spirit Wear Days!
Volunteer: The Run Committee is in need of at least 8 more volunteers to assist with directing traffic on the run course and other opportunities during the event. If you are interested in volunteering on Saturday, 9/28 please email Rachel Rothwell.
Be Prepared to Have Fun: There’s so much more to do at the Run for The Summit than just running! The whole family is sure to enjoy this event! There is a pancake breakfast (complementary with Run registration or $5 for non-registrants). And The Summit’s very own Mr. Powers will be on site conducting several interactive experiments and projects for kids of all ages!
