Social Studies Update

Middle School

Middle school students have been learning about the feudal structure in medieval Europe. They’ve chosen countries and zoomed in on what this time looked like from the perspective of someone living then.

Several students are also making the final edits on their Law Day: Advancing the Rule of Law Now entries. These students took the prompt seriously, conducting strong research and sharing their arguments in effective writing. They should each be proud of themselves for the work they’ve put into this project!

High School

High school students are learning about countries and their involvement in three events in the 20th century: the Great War, the Great Depression, and World War II. As part of this project, students will create a timeline, highlighting events of importance from 1914 to 1945. They will also be conducting mini presentations on these three major events from the perspective of different nations. Their willingness and excitement to jump in and start a new project is much appreciated!
