Middle School Math

Algebra I

We are finishing up the first section of our unit on linear equations, inequalities, and systems. As this section is foundational to later skills, there will be a knowledge check (“quiz”) on Tuesday. We will be reviewing in class.  This document contains support material for the content we are working on, as well as some review videos.

Integrated Math

Scale copies and scale drawings allow us to work with those things that are too large, too small, or otherwise inaccessible. This week students were able to see the scale of the Apollo Lunar Module when they added themselves to a scale drawing. There will be a short assessment over scale copies and scale drawings on Tuesday. Would you like more details about scale drawings and scale copies? Check out this PDF.

6th Grade

After Fall Break, we will be moving into rates and percentages. The work we have done with ratios will be critical to success. There will be a short assessment on Tuesday to ensure we are ready to move on. For more information on ratios, view this PDF.   This family support material goes into rates and percentages as well.
