Upper School Science Update

Middle School Life Science
Students have wrapped up their study of protein synthesis and have switched gears into science fair mode. For the next few weeks, students will be exploring ideas and writing research plans for their science fair projects. These projects do not need to be completed until mid-February, but the time needed to complete an experiment can vary widely.

High School Physics
Students are learning about different methods of finding resultant vectors. Resultant vectors are the sum total of multiple vectors, such as forces, interacting. Starting with different techniques for graphical vector addition, they have moved on to using the Pythagorean theorem and trigonometric functions to find resultant vectors.
