As our Día de los Muertos activities come to a close, Summit students are walking away with a deeper understanding and appreciation of this important Mexican celebration. This week students contributed to the all-school ofrenda, decorated sugar skulls, created Mexican paper flowers, cut papel picado decorations, and even learned how the monarch butterflies in our own backyard are connected to this beautiful holiday.
