Do you have a teen driver, or soon to be teen driver? Check out the First Impact Program and the virtual parent education series. First Impact, a program offered by ThinkFirst Missouri (University of Missouri’s School of Medicine) is a traffic safety program that educates parents about Missouri’s Graduated Driver License (GDL) law as well as provides parents with the tools they need to monitor, coach, and support their new teen driver. GO CAPS – Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Professional Studies
- High School students in 9-11th grade will get to hear more about opportunities available to them during the 2022/23 school year this week. Karen Kunkel will visit The Summit to discuss the program and application process for students during their junior and/or senior years of high school.

Leadership Springfield Academy Class
Current 10th graders can apply for Leadership Springfield starting Feb. 7. This program is a great way for students during their junior year to meet new people and learn valuable leadership skills along the way. Students accepted into this program will earn 1 credit toward their high school graduation requirements. Mrs. Breckner will visit with students once applications become available (2/7).
