Geometry

This week in Geometry, students analyzed reflective and rotational symmetry. Then point by point transformations allowed students to describe complex, multi-step transformations precisely and accurately.

Data Science

In Data Science this week, students have been exploring how to clean and model data in Google sheets using three months of sample data from Me and the Bees, a business started by a young woman whose story you can see here. After learning how to use conditional formatting, apply formulas, sort, filter, and graph, students have been tasked with using their modeling to prepare a business report for Me and the Bees. Based on their observations in the data, students will be working to develop three recommendations for the business and support these recommendations with visuals and analysis.
