Social Studies Update

Students in American History I are just beginning a presentation project related to the Civil War. Students chose their topics today in class, and they will present next week.

In morality and ethics, many high school students elected to take the course for a half credit toward their social studies requirement. As part of this choice, students have more in-depth coursework to complete. They’re currently working on a paper that examines the morality and ethics of a book of their choice. They’ve chosen some important works, and their papers are sure to have interesting arguments. Alongside the papers, the entire class is also working on understanding the potential moral arguments of a number of political issues, and they will begin presenting on Friday.
