Spring Semester Updates

What an interesting start to the new year with our winter weather in Missouri!!   Please see below for upcoming events and deadlines to be aware of.   Please reach out with any questions.   

ACT Prep Workshops – Mr. Madar will be back this spring with several subject intensive workshops.   Register early for one or all workshops as space is limited to 10 participants.   The first session will be Feb. 3, 2024.  Summit students will receive a 25% discount for each session. 

GO CAPS– High school students had an opportunity to visit each of the strands the Greater Ozarks Career and Professional Studies Program has to offer.   For current 10-11th grade students, applications are available.  Deadline for applications is Feb. 29, 2024.  Please reach out to Mrs. Breckner if you plan to apply. 

Leadership Springfield Academy Class

Current 10th graders can apply for Leadership Springfield starting Feb. 5.  This program is a great way for students during their junior year to meet new people and learn valuable leadership skills along the way.  Students accepted into this program will earn 1 credit toward their high school graduation requirements.   Mrs. Breckner will visit with students once applications become available (2/5).  The link above will provide more information about the program for your review. 

Seniors Only

  • If you are looking to apply for more scholarships, check out the Community Foundation of the Ozarks’  scholarship page.   The deadline for most scholarships on this page is Mar. 1, 2024. 
  • FAFSA  – Check out this link for more information on the new FAFSA form.  Colleges and career schools use the FAFSA to determine how much financial aid a student is eligible to receive, which includes grants, scholarships, work-study and loans.    

 

Feb. 7, 2024 – Watch your email for more information about Day of Play at The Summit and how our upper school students will get to spend their day. 

Feb. 15, 2024 is the Winter Mixer.  Check your email to register and more information about this annual event!!
