High school students are finishing up argumentative essays related to a chosen historical fiction text. Each student selected a book to read throughout the school year, and they’re now working to examine that text in the context of the history we’ve studied this year. We utilized some class time for a peer review process today and practiced giving each other helpful, effective feedback for improvement and clear writing.
