High School

Chemistry students are exploring techniques for separating mixtures and solutions. Students are taking a hard look at the physical and chemical properties of different substances and how these differences can be exploited for separation.

Middle School

Ecology students are looking at carrying capacity, topography, and the effects of different energy inputs on ecosystems. This is being done through a simulation involving islands, introduced plant and animal species, along with human intervention.
