In 6th grade we are preparing to read “The Diary of Anne Frank” and have spent the distance time exploring the website for the museum and several of it’s educational options including a virtual tour of the Annex in which the Frank family lived for over two years.

While the Holocaust is a dark time in the history of the world, by exploring it in the safe space that is The Summit, I’m confident the students will emerge with a deeper understanding of what it means to oppose injustice and empathize further with all people, especially those who have been historically marginalized.
