As part of our study of the Great War, students requested to crack a code in history class. Thanks to a fantastic resource about the Zimmermann Note through the National Archives, students had that opportunity this morning. The code used a grid cypher, and students actively worked to figure out the message. They worked together, problem solved, and asked great questions throughout the process.
