Presentations in Language Arts

This week, students in 7th and 8th grade made their presentations over their final projects for “Little Women.” In the style of Jo March, the novelist in the story, students chose either to present a play with a script and fantastical content related to the book, or they could choose to present a newspaper on the events contained in the novel. All the presentations were successful and some were even hilarious and the classes enjoyed them very much.

6th grade got a jump on their final project for the year, a mini-research paper in which they will explore a career path that they might enjoy and how they might use that to help with a world wide problem that concerns them. If they are able to work in a field they enjoy while feeling like they are making a difference in the world, they can come to find what they are individually passionate about.

7th and 8th will also be working on the same project and got an intro to it this week in addition to their performances.
