This week in Language Arts

This week, all middle schoolers have been continuing our work with research, MLA, and informative writing. We’ve covered a variety of topics including finding academic sources, constructing a strong thesis statement, in-text citations and more. We move on Writer’s Workshop and revision next week.  The paper topic is finding a career that you can use to solve a world problem that concerns you. If you are lucky enough, theoretically, finding a career where you feel like you are changing the world can cease to be a career and become a passion. The paper will be due next Friday, the 12th.
