How Many Plants Are In The School’s Backyard?

This was the question students had to answer last week. After a week of surveying, measuring, and counting most groups in the middle school agree that the number of plants in the backyard is somewhere in the range of 100,000,000 to 500,000,000. Students had to justify their conclusions with evidence from their study.
