This week, middle school continued their work on their research papers by learning about crafting proper thesis statements, the building blocks of a solid introductory paragraph, and how to craft strong transition statements to help their readers navigate their paper’s sub-topics. We will continue next week with learning about proper MLA In-Text Citations and inserting direct quotes, summaries, and paraphrases into their work. We are nearing the end of this unit soon and plan to move on in the next two weeks.
