Middle School Math

Math Fundamentals – 6th Grade

The class has been focused on exponents and the order of operations to evaluate expressions effectively. Recently, we’ve begun incorporating variables into our expressions, adding a new layer of complexity to our learning.

Integrated Math – 7th Grade

Students have been engaged in applying algebra to real-world situations through various problem-solving models. We are exploring how to calculate the perimeter and area of squares and rectangles, evaluating exponents, and mastering the order of operations.

Foundations for Algebra – 8th Grade

Students have been actively applying algebra to real-world scenarios. We are mastering calculations involving rate, distance, and time, as well as determining the perimeter and area of squares and rectangles. Additionally, we are developing our skills in writing and evaluating expressions with variables.
