Conservation Elective

Students in the Conservation elective recently had the opportunity to attend a field experience to the Schuette Prairie near Bolivar. During the trip students were led on a tour by the Director of Prairie Management, Jerod Huebner. Along the way they learned about the importance of prairies, plants and animals found in prairies, management techniques used, and participated in seed gathering and butterfly identification!
