Math Fundamentals – 6th Grade

Our 6th grade math students are making great strides in their understanding of fractions! They’ve been building their confidence as they learn how to multiply multiple fractions together. Recently, we’ve also introduced the concept of fraction division, adding another layer to their fraction skills.

Integrated Math – 7th Grade

Students have successfully wrapped up their unit on percentages, fractions, decimals, and interest. They’ve gained a strong understanding of how to work with these concepts in real-life situations. As we move forward, our next unit will focus on solving equations with variables. Students will continue to build their math skills, focusing on gaining confidence in number manipulation and applying these techniques to a variety of problems.

Foundations for Algebra – 8th Grade

This week, our 8th grade math students have successfully wrapped up their geometry unit, where they explored calculating angles, honed their algebra skills, and learned key rules related to various shapes. With that foundation in place, we’re ready to move on to our next geometry topic: Pi! It’s perfect timing, as we’ll be diving into this mathematical constant just in time for Pi Day on March 14. Students will explore the importance of Pi and its application in circles, further strengthening their math skills.
