Middle School Math Update Week 9

6th Grade

6th grade is currently exploring the concepts behind negative numbers, absolute values and operations with fractions. We will be preparing for an assessment that will happen next week across these categories.

7th Grade

We’ve started talking about the very beginnings of algebra 1 which we will review more toward the end of the year to prepare them for next year. Coving topics as intercepts and graphing lines based on their slopes.

Algebra 1

Our next section will involve scatter plots and lines of best fit. We are recovering from our largest test of the year (barring the final) and doing test corrections on that as well which will be due Friday.
