NPR Speaker Visits Upper School Students

Yesterday, here at the Summit, our Upper School students had the opportunity to take part in a lecture from a prominent NPR and Podcast host: Marielle Segarra who is the host of NPR’s Life Kit, an award-winning podcast and radio show, joined us for an informative speech, along with sharing some interesting experiences from her life.

The theme of her talk was ‘The We Factor: Building Connections that Matter,’ where she gave some helpful tips to our students about community engagement and building important connections with people around us.

Upper School Student Council member, Brielle Robison, helped to introduce her and following Marielle’s talk, students asked thoughtful questions to close out the session in a meaningful way.
