Filling the Walls in ELA Classroom

After a full week of school, the blank Kudos Corner was becoming counterintuitive to its purpose (and oh-so boring to look at), so students wrote a Kudos to at least one of their peers. It’s so refreshing to look up and see such positive remarks and encouragement from their Upper School classmates – some middle schoolers wrote a kudos to high schoolers and vice versa.

Be on the lookout for our first short story assignment to come home over the Labor Day weekend! This will kick off the next couple months of reading, discussing, and composing projects about a variety of stories and genres.
