Week 3 Math Update

6th Grade 

We reached our final topics about ratios and how they work this week. After covering numerous topics such as; converting units, analyzing shopping lists and calculating speed, we will take our test on Wednesday and start working through the number system.

7th Grade

Finishing our transformation lesson with dilation, reflection, translation and rotations, we are now moving on to angle measurements. We’ll be covering reflective angles, interior and adjacent angles as well as the understanding of 360 degrees being the total amount within intersecting lines.

Algebra 1 

Algebra 1 has had their first official test which included the coveted y=mx + b formula along with a mixture of calculating slopes and graphing. We’ll be expanding our understanding of formulas and functions and adding in multiple variables as well as analyzing our graphs and discovering lines of best fit.
