Outdoor Education: Bushcraft

Last week in the Outdoor Education Middle School Elective, Bushcraft, students went to Hulston Mill Historical Park to participate in the Primitive Skills Gathering. While there students attended two different workshops: Wild Clay & Spoon Carving. In each workshop students learned about the primitive skill and engaged in hands-on acquisition of the skill. After the workshops students also enjoyed time eating ice cream, learning about other primitive skills through on-site vendors, and playing on old-school equipment – fun was had by all!
